This day trip to Pamukkale is one you definitely don’t want to miss when you’re in Turkey—it makes it simple to explore the city and its ancient sights and ruins from Istanbul. After a short flight and easy transfer, see the red springs of Karahayit, explore the Roman ruins of Hierapolis, and swim in the thermal waters of the Cleopatra Antique Pool (additional expense), with a guide providing historical context along the way. You also have some time to explore the village of Pamukkale on your own before your return flight and transfer back to Istanbul.
DAY 1 – Ephesus Tour ( B,L )
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked from the hotel for full day Ephesus tour. We will visit : Temple of Artemis (one of the 7 Ancient Wonders of the World), Ephesus Ancient City, House of the Virgin Mary and Isabey Mosque. At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to the hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 2 – Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour ( B,L )
After breakfast at the hotel check out. You will be picked up from your hotel for full day Pamukkale and Hierapolis tour. (2,5 hrs driving with stops and beautiful landscape) We will visit : Hierapolis Ancient City, Cleopatra’s Antique Pool and White Travertine Terraces with it’s beautiful panorama also you have chance to bath in the Hot Springs ( White Travertines ) or Cleopatra Swimming Pool. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 3 – Ephesus Tour ( B,L )
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked from the hotel for full day Ephesus tour. DAY 5 – Pergamon Tour – Transfer to Canakkale ( B,L )
After breakfast and check out we will pick you up from the lobby and depart for Pergamon. After the lunch break we drive to Pergamon ancient city, where we visit…… Acropolis and Altar of Zeus, The lower Agorathe Asclepion and Health Centre, Hellenistic Theatre, Temple of Dionysus and the Red Basilica, originally a temple of Serapis, can be viewed. The most spectacular structure is certainly the theatre, a remarkable piece of engineering built into the steep hillside. After visiting all the places we drive to Gallipoli to stay in Canakkale for overnight. Overnight in Canakkale.
DAY 6 – Troy Tour & Gallipoli – Istanbul ( B,L )
After breakfast, check out from your room and our driver will have pick you up for Troy and Gallipoli Tour. First visit will be a replica of the wooden Troy horse that you can climb into for a photo, Excavation information centre which holds exhibits underground, The fortification walls of Troy VI with its tower and gateway entrance, Sacrificial Altars, The Odeon and Temple of Athena – the focal point of a great annual festival in honor of the goddess Athena. After lunch breack we’ll go for Brighton Beach, Ari burnu and ANZAC Cove cemeteries, Lone Pine Australian memorial and cemetery, original tunnels and trenches at Johnston’s Jolly, The infamous Nek cemetery, The Chunuk Bair, Ataturk memorial and the New Zealand memorial and cemetery.
